The Pirates are entering into the 2009 season with a lot of new faces. There have not been a lot of personnel changes since last year, so we are left to hope that the existing players can improve. Hope is on the horizon though, in the form of Pedro Alvarez, . . .
The Pirates are entering into the 2009 season with a lot of new faces. There have not been a lot of personnel changes since last year, so we are left to hope that the existing players can improve. Hope is on the horizon though, in the form of Pedro Alvarez, Jose Tabata and Andrew McCutchen. All three are currently in the minors, but they will start arriving in Pittsburgh soon. Not soon enough I say.
